My family is involved with a small community cemetery. We wanted a birds-eye view to complete a database with names and their associated plots. I decided to fly an Orthomosaic map, a large high-detail and high-resolution image that combines many smaller photos called orthophotos. Using DroneDeploy, I flew an automated square grid flight path around the perimeter to construct the map. By cross-referencing this image with the cemetery survey and names listing, we can now easily update both and the Find-A-Grave database.

Tello Enterprises has been my biggest client, and Zero Verify has been my biggest project. Together, we took on a considerable undertaking supporting six patents that outline a universal method to boresight and verify calibration of a gun utilizing a smartphone app and sensor components. Together, we came up with a branding campaign and marketing concept, mobile app, website, and supporting infographics detailing how Zero Verify can work. I can’t wait to see this technology developed and brought to light in the industry. I am proud to be part of this endeavor and I look forward to seeing Zero Verifys’ entry into the marketplace. 2020 and Beyond

2020 was many things, although not all of them were bad in my book. “What did you do with your 2020,” has been a resounding question — even half a year into 2021. The pandemic, social, and continuing political upheaval have all had a profound impact on almost everyone. Learning to expect the unexpected and pivot has been a resounding theme. Early in 2020, I altered course, choosing to focus on my freelance business, and moved back to the family home in the small town of Rocky Ford, Georgia. I spent time learning new skills that I didn’t have time to learn working a full-time job. One such skill was aerial photography. Earlier, in 2019, I had purchased an off-brand Chinese drone for my dad to use on the family farm. I had always been fascinated with the drone-tech and started to wonder if I could incorporate aerial photography into my business. I spent time flying for fun on several farms in the area and even monitored a controlled burn operation. In March of this year, I received my remote pilot license to operate professionally, and I am just beginning to tap into the real estate market.
